Time to reassess Vietnam’s role in Asia strategy?
Vietnam is among a handful of countries to have grown in 2020, thanks to its effective management of the pandemic. It has built a formidable export-oriented manufacturing capability and stands to gain as companies diversify their supply chains out of China. Vietnam has been aggressive on the trade front, having signed several bilateral and multilateral trade deals, most recently the RCEP.
