One unintended result of many decades of robust business growth and expansion for MNCs in China is a corporate structure that is underpinned with an unwieldy legal entity structure. The business case for simplifying these structures to achieve cost-savings and risk reduction is quite clear. Implementation, on the other hand, may become complicated and overwhelming when navigating through multiple stakeholder relationships on a regional and district level in China.
Our first CFO session of the year aims to explore best practices on how to best manage these types of projects for MNCs. We’ll lean on a couple of CFO members to inform the debate. Confirmed to comment is Pierre La Tour, CFO, China for CNH Industrial, one of the world’s largest capital goods companies.
