Solving the Post-Pandemic Challenges for Team Building in Asia

With COVID-19 fading, Asia team dynamics are changing in unexpected ways.  During the pandemic, country teams became less globalised as travel by managers and technical staff stopped.  It’s unlikely that pre-pandemic levels of travel will return.  Meanwhile, some expats are leaving the region and bringing new ones is getting harder.

New locations, some outside of Asia, are being considered for management roles while some temporary relocation solutions may become permanent.

With so many changes, there’s a risk that teams will feel less engaged and more fragmented.  In this debate, we’ll aim to clarify the challenges and put forward solutions.  If a team works well, then the goals set are likely to be achieved; if a team becomes disengaged, they almost certainly won’t.
