This is IMA’s first social drinks event for members of our China Management & CFO Forums. After we toasted to 2018 with cocktails made by a robot that could be pre-ordered via WeChat, it’s now time for something completely different.

Let’s mix art with drinks. We will gather at 166 ArtSpace, an exhibition space of Andrew Ruff, a long-term resident of Shanghai, who has had a long career as a successful attorney with Linklaters. Together with Josef Ng, Chris Moore, and Andrew is launching NRM, a curatorial and art consultancy based in China and Southeast Asia, that aims to channel different perspectives to bring together artists, galleries and institutions in curating exhibitions, managing trajectories, and developing collections.

We will be able to enjoy some very interesting work of Zeng Fanzhi, one of China’s most famous contemporary artists.

Widely credited for his engagement with the historical discourse on art both from the East and the West, Zeng has become one of the most renowned and recognizable names in the practice of contemporary art today.” (NRM)
