Return to the Office in Asia Pacific
Most firms agree that we are headed towards a world of hybrid work as restrictions are lifted. Corporate policy will need to address many details; chief among them: who returns to the office and how often, and will there be an impact on salaries? Further, there are several considerations in making these decisions, including employee morale, equity, productivity, corporate culture, costs, and innovation. Finally, there is the complexity of the region to consider.
After nearly two years of experimentation, a clearer picture is emerging about the future of work and the workplace. We will share the findings of an IMA Asia survey currently underway on the topic, and then encourage group debate about some of the common themes and novel ideas that have emerged over the period. The discussion will help members better benchmark their corporate practices and policies, and provide greater clarity on difficult issues to be resolved.
