Q4 China Forecast Update

Most of us plan for better growth in 2023 but China’s recovery will be difficult as global demand is expected to slump. Any upturn will need to come from local demand, which has been unusually weak.  A new leadership team will help and so too will ending zero-covid.

Please join us for the Q4 China Forecast on The Path to Reviving Growth in 2023 with Richard Martin, Managing Director, IMA Asia.  We’ll update our views on those issues before focusing on policy changes, a growing array of stimulus measures, and the outlook for demand from consumers and corporates. Stronger growth in 2023 will be critical to containing risks (such as a property crisis) and clarifying how President Xi’s new team aim to drive China’s economy over the next five years.
