Can Asia keep growing with a US-China trade war looming and the risk of currency devaluation spreading across emerging markets?  IMA’s take on this issue, as expressed by Richard Martin, Managing Director of IMA Asia, is:

‘We have a difficult few months to get through the tail end of this year and early next year. Remember, Brexit lies ahead of us in March. I think many of us have not considered that Brexit might be another shock wave through the global economy. But our basic outlook for the region is that we have the capacity to continue with growth driven off domestic demand and keep our internal risks under control. We have to try to stave off contagion running into the region.’
