James Castle is one of the leading advisors and market-entry strategists in Indonesia. His clients include multinationals, large domestic groups, and major multilaterals like the World Bank, ADB and IFC. James has served as the Chairman of the International Business Chamber of Indonesia, which he co-founded, and also as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia. Prior to the formation of CastleAsia, he was a partner in Touche Ross Indonesia, where he directed research and analysis. Before joining Touche Ross, James was Director of Southeast Asian Services for Business International, coordinating and developing services for international clients in the ASEAN countries and Australia. James is fluent in Indonesian and has lived in Indonesia since 1977.
